Repeat...

After following this ongoing storyline between AJ Lee, John Cena and Vickie Guerrero, there seems to be a little Deja Vu. Remember the Claire Lynch storyline? Well, it's back in full force but not in TNA. The WWE fanboys have always ranted on TNA copying WWE of their storylines, but now the tables have been turned. After Vickie Guerrero claimed on Twitter that she had evidence that John Cena has been having an affair with someone in management, she would bring evidence on Monday night Raw to prove it. And what do we get? The evidence is Cena and AJ getting ''together'' for a ''business dinner'' and then getting in a elevator together. WHAT?? That's right, it's the same storyline that had been put for AJ Styles and Dixie Carter, except TNA management knew when it was time to call it off.

What we know about this is that it's gonna be a failure. The upper brass in Stamford don't realize that in about 3 months or so, when this disaster of a storyline sinks faster than the Titanic, that they will put another nail in their coffin. We all witnessed how AJ Styles was being forced to deal with such a stupid scenario involving a drug addict that eventually goes nowhere because the whole thing never made sense in the beginning. Let's just wait and see what they come up with. They're already doomed to fail.

To talk about a whole other topic, Beth Phoenix has left the WWE. She is apparently leaving wrestling to help her real life boyfriend, Adam Copeland, also known as Edge through surgery. Now, let me just say this. The WWE simply do NOT care about the Divas Division. They might have at one point, but in this day and age, the only reason the Divas matches are on are to either go and get a toilet break or simply go to the kitchen and get some sandwiches done. They have lost so many divas over the years, because they were either wanting more recognition, or wanting to start a family. The only legitimate Diva in WWE right now is Natalya. She is one of the finest female wrestlers today, and she is put in embarrassing situations and given stupid gimmicks.

The Knockouts Division in TNA isn't what it used to be either, but TNA management have always found ways to close those gaping holes. With the soon-to-return Velvet Sky, the division can only go up. Taeler Hendrix is about join the main roster soon, so the Knockouts are still in a good position. End rant.

Thuganomics in TNA...

First off, I would like to thank all the people reading my blog and enjoying what I write. I haven't been able to write new columns due to personal issues, but none the less, I am back. Now, to talk about something fresh. You might have read the headline and thought to yourselves, ''No way!! John Cena?? In Impact Wrestling??'' Well I've got news for you. Ever since being the poster boy of the WWE, John Cena has carried the company on his shoulders and has become a massive hit. He is loved by the kids because of his ''Never give up'' slogan that he has and he is a big role model for kids. But let's go back to the old days when he was known as the rapping John Cena.

Back in 2003, John Cena debuted as a rapper and a so called ''Eminem-wannabe''. He was mocked greatly and made fun of, but the more he rapped and dissed the legends and the wrestlers, he got more loved, even though he was a heel. He had great feuds with the likes of Brock Lesnar, Undertaker, Kurt Angle and JBL. He eventually changed into the ''Chain Gang Soldier'' around 2005/2006. He changed again in 2008, during the PG era, to ''Supercena''. The man that can get the beating of his life and all of a sudden get up, beat his opponent with his ''5 moves of Doom'' and win the match. It has been like this for years and he truly needs a change.

He has always been a great worker and someone that does what they're told. But even John Cena can't stick around forever. He is 36, going through a divorce, is forced with a stale gimmick and is taking up promo time even though he's supposed to be at home resting. Now, what I'm trying to get to is this...Vince Mcmahon is realizing that he can't push John Cena as hard as he is currently. With the travel scheduele and main eventing almost EVERY single PPV of this year, he is either going to wind up  with an early retirement, or be stuck in a wheel chair for the rest of his life.

When you think of Cena, you might think of this guy...

Hulk Hogan was a massive name in WWF/WWE, just like John Cena is right now. Nobody ever thought he would go to WCW, but guess what, it happened...Thuganomics is making an ''Impact'' in Impact Wrestling folks and history doesn't lie, just like Hogan, Cena is gonna cross the line at some point, mark my words...

BFG thoughts and a sinking ship...

Now that Bound For Glory is behind us, I have to give my take on the PPV, the good and the bad. It was AMAZING!! without a doubt, THE best PPV of 2012 bar none. Yes, even better than Wrestlemania 28. The matches were awesome, and as I predicted, all the wrestlers I was predicting to win were the right ones. I loved the surprise appearance by Matt Morgan in the Al Snow/Joey Ryan match. I was expecting him to show up for the Aces & 8s match. This alliance with Morgan/Joey Ryan reminds me of the HBK/Kevin Nash alliance a little bit. We'll see what they will bring to the table come Thursday night on Impact. Now however, I would like to talk about a few things, including the state of WWE and Monday Night Raw.

Since July 23rd, 2012, Raw has been on a massive decline in ratings and people have been vocal about it. On the 1000th episode of Raw, around 6 million viewers tuned in to the show. Fast forward to the 16th of October, the viewership has dropped to 3,98 million. That's 3,2 million drop folks. To say that the WWE is bleeding within is an understatement. Ever since they went PG, people have been changing the channel simply because it's just not possible to watch a show that has the same wrestlers in the main event. Here is a ratings and viewers comparison numbers since July 23rd.

7/23 RAW: 6.02 million viewers (average)
7/30 RAW: 4.50 million viewers (average)
8/6 RAW: 4.37 million viewers (average)
8/13 RAW: 4.13 million viewers (average)
8/20 RAW: 4.48 million viewers (average)
8/27 RAW: 4.48 million viewers (average)
9/3 RAW: 4.20 million viewers (average)
9/10 RAW: 4.14 million viewers (average)
9/17 RAW: 4.1 million viewers (average)
9/24 RAW: 3.79 million viewers (average)
10/1 RAW: 3.5 million viewers (average)
10/8 RAW: 4.12 million viewers (average)
10/16 RAW: 3.98 million viewers (average)

Every week, in every PPV, it's always John Cena that's front and center. He may be injured, but it doesn't mean he's not gonna be put back in the main event. Ryback is only there as a 'what if' because Cena's recovery time is in doubt. Vince Mcmahon is said to be high on Ryback, and while he's getting over steadily, he's not ready to main event Hell In A Cell. He might be pushed to the moon, but we will all find out that he won't cope with the pressure, mark my words.

While WWE continues to decline ratings wise and product wise, TNA are putting on their best display in recent years. I have high hopes for them, I will be giving suggestions on how they can get to the top, but that's for another time.

BFG Predictions...

Now that BFG is so close, I would like to take this time and review the card for Bound For Glory one final time and give my thoughts on who's gonna win and what's gonna happen in this event. The last 2 episodes of Impact have been great, and TNA have really stepped up their game as of late. Here we go.

1) Joey Ryan vs Al Snow

Ever since Joey Ryan was introduced to the Impact Zone, they immediately liked how he wrestled and the crowd loved him. After being denied a contract however, he had been posting videos about how TNA screwed up and that the fans are right. This current feud with Al Snow will culminate at Bound For Glory, with Ryan picking up the win thanks to Al Snow helping him win the match and he gets his contract.

Winner: Joey Ryan

Street Fight: James Storm vs Bobby Roode/King Mo as Special Enforcer

This rivalry has reminded me of the Austin/Rock feud back in Wrestlemania 17. They've got the ability to make the crowd see them fight, and they have brought their A-game all the way. Now, Roode has beaten Storm 5 times already. I am expecting this match to be the Match of The Year. There will be blood, there will be chaos and this will be the final battle between these two as they go toe to toe one final time. I am firmly expecting Storm to win after the brutal win, and close this chapter and once again challenge for the World Title.

Winner: James Storm

3) Samoa Joe vs Magnus for the TV Title

I happen to be a big fan of Samoa Joe. I like his attitude, and the way TNA management has him playing the tweener role very well. He will do battle with Magnus for the Television Title. I expect this to be a good match. They can work well together and even though Magnus should be a midcard champion by now, they can't put the strap on him for now, so the win goes to Joe.

Winner: Samoa Joe

Zema Ion vs Rob Van Dam for the X-Division Title

I have to say in spite of what people say about Ion, I think his gimmick is actually good. Ever since unintentionally broke Jesse Sorensens neck, he has been breaking peoples arms and even dubbed himself ''The Armbreaker''. Before that even occurred, he was stale and people didn't care about him, atleast now he gets a reaction. Anyway, for the match, he will face RVD. This will no doubt be a good match, these two guys work a similar style and there will likely be a lot of spots but Zema will once again escape with the belt.

Winner: Zema Ion

AJ Styles/Kurt Angle vs. Chavo Guerrero/Hernandez vs. Daniels/Kazarian for the Tag Team Titles

When this match was announced by Hulk Hogan, I knew this match was gonna be special. All 3 teams are gonna bring it, I expect high spots, lots of technical moves and a very good wrestling match. TNA are high on Chavo and Hernandez, so I wouldn't be surprised if they walked away with the titles. And for the sake of this AJ/Daniels fued ending, it's for the best if they win the titles.

Winners: Chavo and Hernandez

Tara vs Tessmacher for the Knockouts Title

This is a battle between teacher vs student. Tara has something to prove, that she is the better wrestler and that she has the experience to win. Although I have to say I don't like her ''Hollywood Boyfriend'' persona she has going on, but I believe the man she is ''dating'' will reveal himself after the match. My guess? Eric Young, John Morrison or Chris Masters. As for this outcome, I bet on Tara to win after using underhanded tactics.

Winner: Tara

Sting and Bully Ray vs Aces and Eights

This will likely come down to Bully turning on Sting and revealing himself as a member, unless TNA do a swerve and completely shock us all with a return of a TNA original.

Winners: Aces and Eights

Jeff Hardy vs Austin Aries for the World Heavyweight Championship

This match, in my opinion will end up as a no contest. Simply because if Aries wins, TNA risk losing Hardy in February if he doesn't sign a new contract. If Hardy wins, the critics will be up in arms and remind everyone of Hardy's match at Victory Road 11, despite his reform. He will likely be champion some other time, but for now it's just not a possibility.

Winner: No Contest

Those are my predictions, it took me a while to write but I hope you all agree, and if not that is fine too. I'll talk about Bound For Glory after it's been done, but for now, let's just await the magic...

Underrated...

I would like to take this time to talk about one man who has been terribly misused by TNA for years. He has the talent and the ability to take upon any character and use it to perfection. He is used as a comedy joke these days and is one half of the Knockouts Tag Champs.

I am of course talking about Eric Young. The man has been with TNA for many years, and has been misused so much that I sometimes cringe when I see him with the Knockouts Tag Belt now. Just 3 years ago he was the leader of World Elite, and in my opinion, one of the best stables TNA have ever come up with. It's stint was short, but he showed that he could be taken seriously and be noticed. To show you what I mean...

Compare the Eric Young in the video to the one teaming up with ODB. Huge difference isn't it? While he was playing this serious character, he could have been world champion and he would have shown everyone why is such a great wrestler. Eric Young stated once that Eric Bischoff came up to him and said he shouldn't really be playing the comedy character, which is true. So are we gonna see the return of a more focused and determined EY? We'll have to wait and see...

Trouble...

I am going to take the time to write about the WWE this time and really analyze why they are stuck in a rut at this time.

As you are reading this, you are probably thinking somewhere in the lines of 'PG rating'. I would say, that is part of the problem But the problems are many. I'll break them down for you.

1) Heels that can't play the role of a heel

Now, hear me out on this one. Since the PG rating was put back in 2008, it has become harder and harder for the wrestlers to play the bad guy convincingly. Heels are supposed to be hated and booed, but in this current era, it's just not possible anymore. Let's talk about the incident with Alberto Del Rio and a fan that was a child holding a Pro-Sheamus sign. The kid, accompanied by his mother held up a sign saying he loves The World Champion. Del Rio then takes the sign away from him and attempts to rip it but fails. The small child then cries and the mother reports it. The WWE get a lot of heat for that. See where I'm going with this?

2) The kids love John Cena

And they love him so much. So much so that he is constantly pushed due to his ability to please the children. This has an negative effect though. Cena plays the Superman role, someone that can get destroyed for the majority of the match and all of a sudden come back and win the match. He is virtually hated by the males and the teens due to his gimmick only being suitable for children. After having someone like Stone Cold or The Rock entertaining people for years with a serious but enjoyable character, it has become hard to get used to the Cenation leaders constant main event matches and titles wins.

3) People can't forget about the Attitude Era

At a time when WCW were demolishing the WWE in the ratings, the upper brass in Stamford, Connecticut had to go drastic measures. Vince Mcmahon announced the Attitude Era and we would get to see amazing matches with wrestlers like The Rock, Stone Cold, Triple H, Kurt Angle and so many others. They all had one thing in common, and that was originality. Every single one of those wrestlers were unique in their own way, and all had their way of doing things. The matches were great, the segments were amazing, and there was this excitement whenever WWE was on. Fast forward 10 or so years later, and you will find dead crowds, wrestlers with terrible gimmicks and an all out horrible product.

This, my friends is what the PG era brings in today's modern world. I sincerely believe that there will be another company to take over the wrestling world in a few years, but for now, I can safely say that the WWE are gonna dig their own grave with a product as bad as this one....

Knockouts Division in disarray...

Now some of you may have thought to yourselves, ''What is he talking about?'' Well it is a known fact that since Bruce Pritchard, Senior VP of Talent Relations took over the position, the female talents have been somewhat ignored. They are not being viewed in the same light as they used to. Just 3 years ago, we had an abundance of great female wrestlers that could have a great match and there was so much variety, now it seems to me we only get about 4 or 5 knockouts all the time.

So how can this problem be fixed? Either Bruce Pritchard puts more emphasis into the Knockouts Division and gives them more TV-time OR a big decision has to be made...and fire Pritchard.

It may seem exaggerating to some of you but if that is what it takes to get the Division going again, then so be it. But if they WOULD put extra effort into the Knockouts, how would they do that? I'll explain...

1.Bring back Awesome Kong

Back in the day before she jumped to the Wwe, she was without a doubt one of the greatest Knockouts in Tna history. She had amazing bouts with Gail Kim and even though she is known for having a bit of an attitude problem, I would no doubt like to see her in the Impact Zone once again.

2. Bringing back The Beautiful People

When these two women left Tna, there was a huge void that needed to be filled. Velvet Sky was one of the few Knockouts, if not only, that could draw and make people get interested. Bringing one or both of them back would be a great plan, as the Division is just not the same at the moment.

3. Sign Beth Phoenix/Natalya if possible

If I'm not mistaken, Phoenix contract ends at the end of next month. She would then be able to sign for other wrestling organisations, including Tna. It would put the Division to better use with such a good wrestler, since the upper brass in Stamford don't have the ambition and drive to make their Women's division worth watching.

This is what I believe can improve Tna and their representation of how they treat their female wrestlers, and I do believe they can do better than what they are doing now, MUCH better...

Impact review...

After watching Impact this week, I can't help but think that Bully is NOT the leader of Aces and Eights. I might be wrong here, but from my estimation, there could be only two men to fit that role. Those men are Matt Morgan and Eric Bischoff.

Since Matt Morgan returned a few weeks ago at a house show, he has been teasing on Twitter that he's doing what's right and that he deserves better. And as for Bischoff, the way the masked leader was talking last week during Sting and Hogans kidnapping, it just seemed like it was Eazy-E talking. From the promo, to his timing, everything seemed to point to him being the leader. I might be wrong though. He might have been there, but just to fill in and give the fans something to think about, we may never know. What we do know is that on October 14th in Phoenix, the masks are gonna come off and the masked men will reveal themselves.

Now, as for the show itself this week, I believe they did a good job. The matches had a good build to them, but I only have one slight problem with the Joe vs RVD  match. In my opinion, Rob Van Dam was a bit sloppy against Joe, and didn't do as good of a job as he usually does. None the less, I'm excited about BFG, especially Roode and Storms match. I am highly confident they will tear the house down, and possibly have a Match Of The Year. The whole build up has been great, nothing has been rushed and it will all culminate on Sunday.

Will there be twists and turns on Sunday? I can say this. Whatever will happen, it will change the landscape of Impact Wrestling and show the critics that they actually can do a great storyline and end it perfectly... BFG is 8 days away folks, hold on to your seats...

Matt Morgan...

So, just a few weeks ago, Matt Morgan, the Blueprint showed up at a house show and planted Robbie E with a big boot. But why didn't creative get him to show up on Impact instead? This is one of many questions that has the fans wondering if he could be the leader of the Aces and Eights?

For months the Aces and Eights have attacked everyone, from Austin Aries to Bobby Roode. This feud between the Impact locker room and this group has reached a boiling point and everything will be revealed at Bound For Glory. I personally believe Tna are gonna make Morgan the leader, simply because the man has been misused for years, and he worked all the fans on Twitter by hinting that he was heading for the Wwe, as to surprise everyone when he is revealed as the man who has got himself some reinforcements.

Now, the men Morgan is leading is still anyones guess, and I will talk about that soon enough. But if The Blueprint shows up at Bound for Glory and reveals he is responsible for this havoc, it would undoubtedly make him a main event player. Tna have been taking this storyline with caution and a lot of twists and turns. It is one of the most compelling and well thought of storylines in years, one that will only bring them good things.

Bound For Glory is in 10 days, and something huge WILL happen, mark my words...
