A man that was once known as the 'face of TNA', now making his own path. Doesn't follow any rules, does what he wants, when he wants. And I LOVE every single second of it. THIS is the change we've been waiting for. To finally see AJ Styles being used in such a unique way, it makes sense why he was put in such a horror storyline to begin with.<br />
<br />
From being accused by Daniels and Kazarian of sleeping with Dixie Carter to impregnating a drug addict. It drove him to the brink of insanity. But he got his revenge and cleared his name. But there was more hishaps to come for Styles, more than he could handle. His loss in the triple threat match between Bobby Roode, James Storm and himself was the end of the line for him. He was finally seeing the big picture. He claimed to have been tired of being ''TNA's corporate janitor'' or something along those lines.<br />
<br />
So he decided that from that point on, he was gonna be a lone wolf. Only taking care of himself and nobody else. To the amusement of his detractors Bad Influence of course, who mocked his name for weeks and celebrated his decision to leave Impact Wrestling.<br />
<br />
While there was chaos in TNA with Aces & Eights dominating the roster, AJ was nowhere to be found. TNA cameras did however catch him for a moment, and it was clear he was a changed man. The new AJ Styles was so full of anger and bitterness and couldn't care less about anyone. So he took off in his motorcycle. 2 weeks later, it's announced that he will return to Impact Wrestling. And he did, but not the way people expected it. He showed up after Daniels match with James Storm. With Bad Influence beating down 'The Cowboy', AJ came out in a rush with no music, attacked Kazarian and gave Daniels a cold, hard look. But in the blink of an eye, he attacked James Storm as well. People asking themselves, 'what happned to AJ Styles?'<br />
<br />
The week after that, he was being interviewed by Mike Tenay about his actions. AJ didn't say a word and the Cowboy came out. Tried to get some explanation over why he did what he did. But there was nothing from AJ. Only a cold look and then he left the ring.<br />
<br />
This is what we have got people. Now I don't know if there are people that are unhappy with the direction AJ has taken, but I believe it's a breath of fresh air. From his attire, to his disdained look to his quiet persona, this is a brilliant storyline by TNA management. I hope they keep this up with him, because I can see a bigger picture here. He should be neither face nor heel. Just someone that does things for his own good and doesn't care who he hurts, as long as it satisfies him.<br />
<br />
This Thursday, AJ will finally speak out. Personally I would have had him be silent for a bit longer but I can understand why he must do so. TNA have the ball in their court, now is not the time to drop it. With AJ looking the best he's ever been, they simply must generate success...Wolfknight30http://www.blogger.com/profile/05376849294781720348noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624302636665746850.post-65914886510066418022013-03-09T12:13:00.003-08:002013-03-09T12:13:57.914-08:00Lockdown predictions...It's been a while people. I have taken a long hiatus to deal with some personal issues. But now I'm back and I'll be doing more work within the coming weeks. Now as you all know, Lockdown is this Sunday. I've taken the time to analyze all the matches and from what I've seen, the card is pretty solid. Now that's said, let's run down the card...<br />
<br />
Joey Ryan vs. Joseph Park<br />
<br />
This is a match that was randomly made. No build up, no nothing. While it seems strange that TNA had such a long time to build this match, it's probably going to be a decent match since Park is in it. I'm not expecting major stuff from this, but I could see Park snap and turn into Abyss once again. My vote goes to Park for the win.<br />
<br />
Winner: Joseph Park<br />
<br />
<br />
Robbie E vs. Robbie T<br />
<br />
These two wrestlers have been working as a tag team for over a year, before their eventual split a few weeks ago. Bigger Rob has been given a decent push as a face and I'm glad to see the two of them going their separate ways. I always felt like Rob Terry was given more of a jobber role, instead of being this decent midcarder. Now that it's finalized, we will see these two go head to head in the steel cage. This shouldn't come as a surprise as I believe Terry with his current face push will squash Robbie E and take the victory.<br />
<br />
Winner: Robbie T<br />
<br />
<br />
TNA Knockouts Championship: Velvet Sky (c) vs. Gail Kim<br />
<br />
In my opinion, this will be a pretty entertaining match. Gail Kim has been vocal lately about being given a shot for the title and with her credentials, I believe she fits the bill. Not to mention Velvet Sky's push since returning to the company and winning the strap, I believe Sky will continue to win and defend her title successfully.<br />
<br />
Winner: Velvet Sky<br />
<br />
<br />
TNA X-Division Championship: Kenny King (c) vs. Zema Ion vs. Christian York<br />
<br />
These three guys right here are likely to tear the house down at Lockdown. All three of them have a reason to win the title. They are all impressive and will wow the crowd. But if we're gonna look their title chances induvidually and why they should hold the belt, Kenny King has the strongest reason. He recently turned into this cocky heel, beat RVD for the title and needs to be pushed that way. I can see him going over Ion with a bit of cheating and keeping title at his grasp.<br />
<br />
Winner: Kenny King<br />
<br />
<br />
TNA Tag Team Championships: Money's Worth (c) vs. Bad Influence vs. Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez<br />
<br />
I am definetly enjoy the fanatics of the two heel teams in this match up. After some observation, it's clear that the latter team do not need the strap right now. While I've been entertained by Daniels and Kazarian, the only logical choice in this match are Roode and Aries. They're bent on winning all the titles and in my eyes, they'll continue towards that goal and defend their titles at Lockdown.<br />
<br />
Winners: Money's Worth<br />
<br />
<br />
Steel Cage Match: Kurt Angle vs. Wes Brisco<br />
<br />
Teacher vs. Student. That's what we're going to be seeing as Angle has been playing the mentor of the young Wes Brisco before he was eventually betrayed and beaten down by him and a certain Garrett Bischoff. With Angle looking for revenge and the situation looking as intense as it is, I just can't see Brisco coming away with the win. Angle for the victory.<br />
<br />
Winner: Kurt Angle<br />
<br />
<br />
Lethal Lockdown Match: Aces & Eights (Doc, Devon, Knox, Garrett Bischoff and Anderson) vs Team TNA (Sting, Magnus, Samoa Joe, Eric Young and James Storm)<br />
<br />
I am personally stoked to see this match. There is alot to be gained from this match up, so we need to see people like Doc really being dominant in the match to make him look good. The group as a whole has looked very weak, which is a disappointment. However, there is no way that is going to happen at Lockdown. I see the Aces & Eights winning the match after some hard work with the President finally being revealed. Who that is, I can't say for sure. If I'm gonna guess, I'm gonna have to go with Joseph Park as the president. I'll give my reasons for that in another column but this is pretty much what I believe is gonna happen.<br />
<br />
Winners: Aces & Eights<br />
<br />
<br />
TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Jeff Hardy (c) vs. Bully Ray<br />
<br />
This will be a face vs. face match. Both men have shown great intensity in their promos and both of them deserve to be champions. However, I think it's time for Hardy to let go of the belt. While he has been a great champion, it's time for Bully to take over. While I would like to see Ray as a heel champion, it's still nice to see him as a face winning the belt for the first time. He deserves it for all his contributions.<br />
<br />
Winner: Bully Ray<br />
<br />
<br />
Those are my predictions. I personally am very excited for this PPV as it has been prepared flawlessly without minor mistakes. Who the leader will be for the Aces & Eights will be revealed at Lockdown and I can't wait to see who the puppetmaster has been all this time...Let's enjoy the ride...Wolfknight30http://www.blogger.com/profile/05376849294781720348noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624302636665746850.post-30599238801111351952013-02-09T10:56:00.000-08:002013-02-09T10:56:12.825-08:00Competition brewing...I have some good news that I believe will please a lot of the TNA wrestling fans everywhere. According to reports, TNA will be taping their ''One Night Only'' PPV'S in March and will then terminate their lease with Universal Studios in Orlando to start wrestling on the road. I can't begin to tell you what this means for the company, the fans and the wrestlers included. It means they can finally show WWE that they're competition.<br />
<br />
Dixie Carter revealed on Facebook when and where they will be on the road:<br />
<br />
March 14th: Chicago, Illinois<br />
March 28th: Jonesboro, Arkansas<br />
April 11th: Corpus Christi, Texas<br />
June 6th: Duluth Georgia<br />
<br />
Impact Wrestling will be taped while they are in these respective cities. As of now, TNA are in New York running the show there, and the WWE are doing everything they can to keep them away from their own wrestlers. That may not sound like much, but when they are actually considering derailing TNA from occupying bigger arenas, then you can tell that there is a definite fear in the WWE's eyes.<br />
<br />
The fact is, WWE is nothing more than a corporate bully. They always have been. Recently, a small Indy company that was touring were blocked from wrestling in a certain arena because WWE felt that they shouldn't be there. They very much dislike other wrestling companies becoming successful and even having the slightest chance of trumping them. Hence why they don't allow any of their talent to appear at any indy events. If they're that nervous, what do you think Vince Mcmahon thinks ?<br />
<br />
If there is one thing I'm positive about, it's that WWE like to come off as a company that minds their own business. Vince Mcmahon is a tyrant and will go to any lengths to make sure he stays on top. If TNA are successful on the road, they have a major shot of reaching WWE's level, especiallly with the way they are presenting their product at the moment. I'm confident that TNA will do great things this year, mark my words.<br />
<br />
With Eric Bischoff at the helm, things are gonna look good. He is known among wrestling fans as one of the people that brought WCW to it's own demise, but I am certain that this time around, he can outwit Vince Mcmahon. If they hold their cards tight to their chest and play the game right, they'll go far. That's a certainty.Wolfknight30http://www.blogger.com/profile/05376849294781720348noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624302636665746850.post-82721400371037003042013-02-02T16:44:00.002-08:002013-02-02T16:44:53.893-08:00The fall of the Chosen One...As you already know, I'm not a big fan of the WWE. I don't like the direction they're headed and how they use some of their Superstars. Which is why I've decided to write about one of these wrestlers because in my opinion, it's really a travesty how someone can be so close to greatness then being held back. I'm referring to Drew Mcintyre, the Scot that plays this rocker in the 3MB. Ever since he debuted with Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal as this rocker that plays the air-guitar, I knew he had been ruined. <div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I remember him making his mark in the WWE, seemingly hated by the crowd as he went undefeated for quite a while before he eventually lost to Kane. He has been on a downward spiral since people claiming that he's getting TV time and that he is fine are being naive. You could once look at this man and claim he could be a World Champion some day. He drew a lot of heat from the audience every time got out, they just hated his guts. Now, he barely gets a reaction as he's been reduced to play this horrible character and be involved in what is likely the most unbalanced faction I've seen in years. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This is what I believe is gonna happen if he continues to play this character or any other mediocre role. I believe he's gonna be released, and we're not gonna see him for a few months. He will probably be performing at Indy events, before TNA try to sign him. I might look like I'm exaggerating but if you think about it, wouldn't you sign this guy if you knew about his potential? Forget about his past gimmicks, you realize that you have a potential star in your hands and it's up to you to mold him into that star. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Like so many other wrestlers misused by the WWE, they come to TNA to continue wrestling and get a fresh start. If I'm gonna name a few, I'm gonna say Luke Gallows and Mike Knox. They were nothing but midcarders and jobbers back in the 'E but now they're looked at as these big bad men of the Aces and Eights. They still have that chance, and they're in a better place now. I'm hoping to see Drew Mcintyre in Impact Wrestling some day, hopefully before it's too late. </div>
Wolfknight30http://www.blogger.com/profile/05376849294781720348noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624302636665746850.post-59943686265840570362013-01-31T12:32:00.000-08:002013-01-31T12:32:20.435-08:00Gamechanger...Yesterday, Dixie Carter tweeted that there was going to be this major announcement that would change Impact Wrestling. Upon hearing the news, I could only presume that they were gonna launch their second show, but I was wrong. It turns out they have decided to take the show on the road and hold a live episode and tape the following epsiode, much like WWE did back in the late 90's with Raw. I couldn't be more stoked to hear this. It means they could leave the Impact Zone permanently and start competing with the WWE. <div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Although it's good news, one has to take into account the risks of TNA going on the road. We all know WWE are the dominant force in wrestling today and even though they may put on lackluster shows more often than not, people are still coming to their shows in droves. That's what is a bit worrying. That TNA can put on a great show and yet only get small attendance numbers and possibly lose money. And what about being LIVE whilst on the road? It could be quite the challenge financially as it was comfortable for TNA to be broadcasting live in the Impact Zone but if they're gonna be successful then they need the viewing public to come out and support them. They've got consistency while they were in the Impact Zone, but now that they're getting out of their comfort zone, one can only hope that the arenas are high in attendance. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
It might seem like I'm questioning TNA's decision here. I'm only slightly concerned because the US is not the U.K. They've had success abroad but being at home it poses a bigger concern. HOWEVER, they've garnered many fans while being in cities like New York for their BaseBrawl, where around 6000 people came to see them, their best attendance yet for a live event. 3000 fans in Missouri came to the TNA live event, which shows they can still get those attendance figures. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I often hear people of the WWE product saying how they are tired of the same old skit that's put out there and how it's too PG. If that's the case, then go to a TNA event. By supporting the #2 company, you will not only be getting great wrestling and a good product, you will also be getting a more serious WWE and a more competitive rivalry. Watching TNA is benefitial for everyone, no doubt about it. There hasn't been a better time to tune in as 2013 will likely be the year that TNA finally gets taken seriously. </div>
<div>

Wolfknight30http://www.blogger.com/profile/05376849294781720348noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624302636665746850.post-81297925990600119072013-01-27T10:38:00.001-08:002013-01-27T10:38:40.655-08:00Unfair criticism...Perhaps I've said it before, but I have to say that writing these columns successfully back-to-back is quite the mission. It's one of the reasons why I'm not a frequent writer, as I'm taking time to get my self up to 100% and bring you another quality column. With that being said, I do have a piece of information that I want to share with you. A few weeks ago, Brooke Hogan was interviewed and she was teasing a in-ring debut. Just today, when Hulk Hogan was asked what he thought of his daughter competing in the ring, he said he wasn't sure about it as he knows the dangers of the business.<br />
<br />
The critics were of course bashing the Hogans and claiming they've ruined TNA and are hogging the spotlight from all the other wrestlers. They also said that the only reason why Brooke would wrestle in TNA would be because of who her father is. They said the same thing about Garrett Bischoff with his father being the producer of the show. One has to wonder if the critics are being hypocrites.<br />
<br />
The fact is, there have been so many wrestlers over the years that have wrestled, most notably in the WWE. If I have to mention some names, I would say Cody Rhodes, Ted Dibiase, Randy Orton, The Rock, Eddie and Chavo Guerrero, Randy Savage, Owen Hart and a bunch of other wrestlers. I could name them all day but I think you're getting my point.<br />
<br />
What I don't understand is, why are they so hated? What have Brooke and Garrett done to be mocked constantly? Granted, Brooke might not be a great actress but looking at all the names above, there is no way that someone can actually make a valid argument over why Brooke shouldn't be able to wrestle. She could go to a nice wrestling school like all wrestlers do, train to the point where she's qualified and then she can step in the ring. Garrett Bischoff didn't seem like he could wrestle very well when he first debuted but he's really come to his own the last few months.<br />
<br />
People need to look at things from a broader perspective. Just because Hulk Hogans daughter wants to possibly wrestle, doesn't mean it gives people the right to bash her for making that choice. If that's the case, then why aren't these wrestlers being criticized? Because they get another reason to poke fun at TNA. Typical fanboys. They always feel the need to disrespect other companies that could possibly be a threat to their beloved WWE. Rant over.Wolfknight30http://www.blogger.com/profile/05376849294781720348noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624302636665746850.post-63852865129739700072013-01-13T11:28:00.000-08:002013-01-13T11:28:08.333-08:00Genesis PPV predictions...TNA have announced 8 matches for tonight. 2 of them are going to involve Aces and Eights while we will be having 2 matches featuring the X-Division with the winner competing in two matches on the same night. Here's the final card for Genesis PPV:<br />
<br />
<br />
Devon vs. Joseph Park<br />
James Storm vs. Christopher Daniels<br />
Sting vs. DOC<br />
Gauntlet match for Knockouts Title #1 Contendership<br />
X-Division Tournament Finals: Kenny King vs. Christian York<br />
X-Division Title Match: RVD vs. ???<br />
TNA World Title Match: Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez vs. Matt Morgan and Joey Ryan<br />
Elimination Match for The World Title: Jeff Hardy vs. Austin Aries vs. Bobby Roode<br />
<br />
<br />
For a while the Aces and Eights held Park captive at their clubhouse and tortured him. After months of dealing with the faction, he decides to learn how to wrestle. Now he's having a match with Devon and I could see a few things happening in this match. We might get to see Park get bloodied by Devon and the Abyss ''channeling'' and laying Devon out with a Black Hole Slam. I believe Park will take home this one but get attacked after the match up.<br />
<br />
And what about DOC vs. Sting? What's gonna happen there? Are we gonna get a violent match up with nothing but vengeance on Sting's mind or are we gonna see another interference by Aces and Eights? In my opinion, there might be a swerve here. Let's say DOC loses the match cleanly. What happens next? Do the faction come out and attack The Icon or do they leave their biggest member hanging for failing to beat his opponent? My vote goes to Sting for the win here.<br />
<br />
James Storm vs. Daniels is a match I'm really looking forward to. Both men look like they could use this match to elevate themselves to the big belt. Daniels doesn't look like he needs to be in the World Title picture right now with his hilarious tag team stint with his partner Kazarian, but a win for him could make him a strong contender for the belt. My vote however goes to Storm.<br />
<br />
Christian York and Kenny King are two wrestlers that have really put themselves in a position where they look like they deserve the title due to their performances of late. If you look at them induvidually though, you will notice that Kenny King has recently started being a heel and he's kinda in a feud with Rob Van Dam. While Christian York has impressed since debuting on Impact, he's not ready for the belt and doesn't need it right now. Kenny King is my victor and new X-Division Champ.<br />
<br />
Here's my opinion on the Knockouts Gauntlet match. This is quite a difficult prediction to make due to the number of Knockouts in this match but also because of their title credentials and their credebility. I might be making a wild guess here but I think Mickie James is gonna win this match up. Having faced Tara twice already, it wouldn't really make sense to me to have one of the other females win it, each having their own reason.<br />
<br />
The Tag Team Title match between Chavo/Hernandez and Morgan/Ryan is where I believe the titles changes hands. The current title holders are in a good position right now and this is the right time to drop them to Matt Morgan and Joey Ryan. We will see an inevitable split in the future, but for now these two men deserve to be champs.<br />
<br />
This is where it gets tricky. If Hardy has indeed signed a new contract, he might keep the belt. If not, he might lose it. I believe he has indeed re-signed but I think it's time that he loses the belt. And I believe Bobby Roode will be the one standing tall with the belt in his hand after the match is over. Aries will likely continue the feud with Roode after Genesis and win the title back but that is for another time.<br />
<br />
This will be a great year for TNA. A lot of changes being made, with the decision of cutting 8 PPVs. They will do a good job though of maintaining balance and making sure that their PPVs are better than they have ever been. Believe that.<br />
<br />
<br />Wolfknight30http://www.blogger.com/profile/05376849294781720348noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624302636665746850.post-9213187499165507252013-01-11T10:32:00.000-08:002013-01-11T10:32:44.984-08:00Departures and speculations...It appears that TNA have let go of a few talents this week. According to reports, D'Angelo Dinero, Rosita and Sarita have all been let go by the company after their contracts expired. In my opinion, I can understand why they would these two Knockouts go. They hadn't been used in months and TNA just didn't have anything planned for them. I wish them the best in all their future endavours.<br />
<br />
Now, here is the part where I'm being a little sceptic on Dineros part. It is said that he wrote on Twitter that his contract with the company expired on Jan 1st and that he won't be resigning. As soon as I heard the news, I saw a pattern. Do you guys remember when Matt Morgan and Devon both claimed their contracts expired? And they were playing the fans for a long time, before they eventually came back to the company? I think this is where Dinero is at right now. I usually don't believe everything that is said on the Internet, whether the statements by the accused were true or not.<br />
<br />
Just take Joey Ryan as an example. When he faced Austin Aries at a Gut Check episode of Impact, he lost the match but the fans like him a lot and he seemed to impress just about everyone. However, he was to be denied a contract the following week and proceeded to attack TNA and talk about the the ''87-percenters'', meaning the fans that voted for him. Here's the thing about it. TNA likely signed him a little after his match with Aries and wanted him in this storyline where he talks about how he was never given a contract in his videos on Youtube. People bought into it and were hooked. T-shirts that said ''87-percent'' were printed and people were behind him. That is what you call a ''work''.<br />
<br />
My point in all of this is that I am not entirely believing in these rumors and statements. In wrestling you can't always trust what is being said, whether it's a work or someone speaking out of character in regards to their contracts expiring, to bring up an example. When Devon was let go, he hinted on Twitter that he and Jesse Neal would go to WWE. I didn't buy that for a second and I predicted him as a member of Aces and Eights. Next thing you know, at Bound For Glory, Bully Ray, Hogan and Sting surround the ring as they take off Devons mask and the fans are shocked.<br />
<br />
So after watching all of these events unfold, I won't be surprised if he's brought back to join the faction, it could be benefitial for him as he hasn't been utilized in a good way. Let's wait and see where things stand in a few months.<br />
<br />Wolfknight30http://www.blogger.com/profile/05376849294781720348noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624302636665746850.post-89905976086090260022013-01-04T11:02:00.000-08:002013-01-04T11:02:06.651-08:00WWE rant and other news....I must start off saying it's been quite difficult maintaining and writing new columns as often as I thought I could. I realize that most of the fans visiting this blog are impatient with my lack of writing, which is why I have put forward this idea. I am planning to bring in another wrestling columnist to defend TNA and offer their insights and opinions. You can expect a few changes on this blog, but rest assured, I'll continue writing for as long as I can. <div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Now, to start off with something that caught my eye recently. This week on Monday Night Raw, a new concept was introduced, called ''Champions Choice''. After watching it more closely, I realized that this new idea they had created was the renaming of TNA's own Open Fight Night, where the champions choose their challengers. I thought it was quite funny, how WWE have been copying several of TNA's ideas lately. I went to visit some wrestling sites and read what people thought about this ''Champions Choice'' idea. I wasn't surprised, as most of them were WWE fanboys that claimed TNA are the real copycats as Austin Aries was given the belt right after Daniel Bryan and CM Punk had been given the belt. And they also proclaim that Aces & Eights are a direct copy of the Nexus.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I can't help but wonder how they can even make such statements. So they're telling me that if a certain star of a rival company goes insanely over with the crowd they're copying WWE? That is simply nonsense. And how are Aces and Eights similar to Nexus? They're wearing masks, some of the members are yet to be revealed. We don't even know their agenda, while the Nexus were a completely different faction. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Now, to talk about something that made a lot of TNA fans very happy. During this weeks Impact, a member was unmasked. He was revealed to be Mike Knox, formerly from ECW. I was expecting his reveal and I believe he'll be used far better in TNA than he was in WWE. I do have an issue with Stings return though, as it was pretty lackluster considering the promos and the hype given. It didn't over ruin the angle though, as it ended on a decent note...</div>
Wolfknight30http://www.blogger.com/profile/05376849294781720348noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624302636665746850.post-35606175144418203392012-12-19T08:32:00.000-08:002012-12-19T08:32:11.479-08:00Hypocrites...It amazes me how much the WWE fanboys like to bash TNA for bringing in ''old washed-up rejects'' but when those certain people show up to Raw one night, they immediately mark out like the greatest debut of all time just happened. I'm of course talking about Ric Flairs cameo appearance on Raw this week and I wasn't surprised to see him show up. His return was planned for a long time, but due to the WWE vs. TNA court case, his return was put on hold. <div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So after Raw was done, I went to some wrestling forums and noticed how people were all over Flair. I mean, they were talking about it like his return was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Here's where the problem comes: When Flair was in TNA, did he recieve the same jubilant reception and warmth the way he did this past Monday night? No. The same fans that were cheering him on his return were calling him old and even said he would he have a heart attack in the ring due to his wild promos. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I am so sick of the fact that the WWE PG fans like to mock TNA and refer to the wrestlers as rejects. I bet if WWE signed Samoa Joe to a contract they would be all over him. Same goes with AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, Bobby Roode and all the others. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Or how about Sting? The PG fans all want to see Sting and Undertaker wrestle at Wrestlemania. Is Sting a reject? No. Is he old? Yes but despite his age, he can still go and outwrestle a lot of the wrestlers at WWE. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So let me get this straight: They bash Ric Flair for his tenure in TNA but when he shows up for one night they go crazy and call it amazing, and at the same time they bash TNA but want their wrestlers and they want Sting to wrestle against the Undertaker. Does anybody see any logic behind this? I certainly don't. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Let me bring up some old facts that the WWE fanboys probably don't know. Their current WWE Champion CM Punk worked for TNA for about 6 months before he left. He worked there around 2003 and eventually made his way to WWE about 3 years later. Now ask yourselves: Is he a reject? If you think about it, he would be since he worked for TNA and went to WWE. See what I did there? </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I don't expect them to stop bashing TNA but if if there is one thing I expect it is crappy storylines, lack of direction and fans complaining from the WWE side. While on the other hand, we'll be watching Impact Wrestling and we'll be enjoying the wrestling and everything to it. </div>
Wolfknight30http://www.blogger.com/profile/05376849294781720348noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624302636665746850.post-65100914665507862902012-12-13T04:13:00.001-08:002012-12-13T04:13:19.310-08:00The Aces & Eights dilemma and other news...So we've found out that the Aces and Eights are for hire. When I watched Impact last week, I didn't find a reason to change the channel. I believe this faction is doing quite well, but there is one problem, lack of direction. They've been on TV for a while now and we've only seen 1 member unmasked, and another pointing to Wes Brisco. In my opinion this storyline NEEDS to move forward.<br />
<br />
I often read the TNA forums and more often than not, there are fans that are complaining about the lack of movement with the current storyline. I couldn't agree more. I liked the concept of a group of bikers coming to TNA and beating people up but I feel there has come a time where something needs to give.<br />
<br />
Who's the leader right now? We don't know.<br />
<br />
Why are they here? And are we gonna find out why?<br />
<br />
These are the questions a lot of fans have been asking, and I'm not sure if TNA management have found themselves stuck, but one thing is for sure. We better see a reveal or a big revelation to this story soon or this will be one big flop.<br />
<br />
In other news, Buff Bagwell was interviewed by Shinings Wizards Podcast and revealed that he was negotiating with TNA for a contract. He has been in talks with Eric Bischoff and Sting and said that he is about 2 weeks from being 100% ready.<br />
<br />
I believe this is some good news, as it's only positive to see an old guard from the WCW days come to Impact Wrestling and make a contribution and lend some experience to some of the younger guys. The critics will be all over this one though, and likely are as I'm writing this. The only thing that will come out of their mouth is ''reject'' and mock TNA for wanting to hire an older wrestler who is ''washed up''.<br />
<br />
If they do sign him, we'll have to wait and see what they manage to do for him. But I just have this feeling that he's probably gonna be involved with the faction I just mentioned. If that does happen, I don't mind, as long as there is a good reason behind it.Wolfknight30http://www.blogger.com/profile/05376849294781720348noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624302636665746850.post-70512106931572063312012-12-09T09:39:00.001-08:002012-12-09T09:39:18.766-08:00Final Resolution predictions....First off, I would like to welcome all the new fans that found my blog. It's because of you people that I write, even though it's a difficult thing to do on the daily. As you all know, Final Resolution is tonight, and I would have hoped to write down my predictions a little earlier, but due to a hectic schedule that wasn't possible. Let's start shall we...<br />
<br />
Tara (c) vs. Mickie James for the Knockouts Championship<br />
<br />
I personally expect this to be a good match. We have two great wrestlers in the ring with a lot of experience, so this should be something worthwhile. I must say that Mickie James return is a real blessing, as there were a shortage of Knockouts on the roster but it's good to have her back. As for the matchup, I believe Tara is doing good so far as the champion, and with Mickie just recently returning, I don't see her taking the strap just yet. Therefore my vote goes to Tara.<br />
<br />
Winner: Tara<br />
<br />
<br />
Rob Van Dam vs. Kenny King for the X-Division Championship.<br />
<br />
In my opinion, this match will likely be full of spots. You have two veterans in there and I don't doubt their ability for one second. I do believe though that Rob Van Dam is doing a decent job so far as champion and with Kings return, I could see these two feuding for a while, to give the X-Division some prestige. But with the way things are looking for the champion, I believe Van Dam is walking away as champion.<br />
<br />
Winner: Rob Van Dam<br />
<br />
<br />
Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez (c's) vs. Matt Morgan and Joey Ryan<br />
<br />
I gotta say that I'm really enjyoing these two tag teams right here. Chavo doing all the flying while Hernandez is the powerhouse. It's a really good combination when facing the team of Morgan and Joey Ryan. If I'm not mistaken, Morgan and Ryan have been teaming up now for about 2 months now. They compliment each other well, and to be honest, I can see them taking the titles for now. With that being said, this match is gonna be full of high spots but my winners are Morgan and Ryan.<br />
<br />
Winners: Matt Morgan and Joey Ryan<br />
<br />
<br />
Aces and Eights vs. Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Wes Brisco and Garrett Bischoff<br />
<br />
I have a few things to say about this match. First off, Garrett shouldn't be in it. He's still a rookie and for him to be in this high profile match with alot of great wrestlers in the ring is quite honestly a shame. It slightly brings down the excitement of the match, but it's still gonna be a great match. As for the winners, I believe Aces and Eights are gonna walk away the victors thanks to Brisco stabbing Kurt Angle in the back and revealing himself to be apart of the Aces and Eights.<br />
<br />
Winners: Aces and Eights<br />
<br />
<br />
AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels for the last time<br />
<br />
I am looking forward to this match, and I have a few things to say about it. In my opnion, with the way things are looking right now for both of these men and considering past history, one would say Daniels would lose once again. However, with AJ going through a rough period, I expect this to continue, therefore the win goes to Daniels with Styles with a disgruntled look on his face as he walks to the back.<br />
<br />
Winner: Christopher Daniels<br />
<br />
<br />
Austin Aries vs. Bully Ray<br />
<br />
This match is basically on because of an apparent love story between Bully and Brooke Hogan. I don't know where this is going, but all I know is that there better be a good reason behind it. As for the match, it's going to be a pretty solid match, and from what I believe, this feud isn't over. And the winner of the match will be Bully Ray.<br />
<br />
Winner: Bully Ray<br />
<br />
<br />
Jeff Hardy (c) vs. Bobby Roode for the World Title<br />
<br />
And here we have two of the best guys on the roster battling for the title. I believe Roode deserves the title. But with the way things are looking revolving Hardy's contract that is expiring in February, it would be understandable why they would keep the belt on him. I hope the feud between these two continues for a while, as I've got no problem with it continuing for another month. But in my opinon, my winner is Jeff Hardy, for now.<br />
<br />
Winner: Jeff Hardy<br />
<br />
<br />
Now that I've written down my predictions, I would just like to say one thing. I realize I don't write as often as I should but I will be writing more frequently and you can expect more from me in the coming days. And if you've got friends or family members that love Impact Wrestling, tell them to read my blog as I could use the support to keep the blog going. Thanks once again for making me write, I wouldn't make it without you, much appreciated.<br />

When James Storm pinned Daniels and telling AJ to use his head, it left AJ dejected and upset. It's clear he's playing the desperation card, and I think it works just fine for him right now, considering the circumstances. However, I would like to write down how I would book him and reinvent him.<br />
<br />
As you all know, Daniels and AJ Styles are gonna face off one last time at Final Resolution. I would have Daniels pin AJ and walk away victorious. AJ would seemingly lose his cool and lose all his matches and be in a downward spiral. He would come out on an episode of Impact telling the fans he's unsure of his future and if he's here to stay. Before he walks out, the Aces and Eights would then attack him and injure him with their trademark hammer.<br />
<br />
This is reminiscent of the Sting angle with the NWO. Sting was a loved character at the time in WCW but he needed a change to battle the biggest faction in WCW history. He returned to the company with the Crow face paint and and battled the NWO until he got his match with Hogan. At this time, the Aces & Eights are taking people out and making a statement.<br />
<br />
Sting would return and try to battle the faction but fail unsuccessfully. Sting would then realize that they need someone to lead the charge, someone that can fill the role Sting filled in WCW. I would have Sting talking to someone in the shadows. Nobody would be able to tell who he's talking to. Sting tells him that TNA need him back. After going back and forth, the wrestler would then agree and Sting would hand him his bat. If you haven't guessed it yet, the wrestler is AJ Styles.<br />
<br />
As the battle rages on in the ring, the lights would go out...everyone's wondering what is happening, the commentators would hype it, and then...GET READY TO FLY!! AJ Styles has returned!! He would run to the ring with the bat and take out the Aces & Eights members one by one and help his fellow wrestlers to their feet. Sting would grab the microphone and that the war isn't over and that business has just picked up.<br />
<br />
That's how I would use AJ Styles if that was up to me, but I'm confident that TNA management are gonna do a good job booking him. I do wish he would improve his mic skills, as it's the only thing he's got a problem with. But it depends on how it's all laid out there, so let's wait and see my friends.Wolfknight30http://www.blogger.com/profile/05376849294781720348noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624302636665746850.post-24151908719438796442012-11-27T09:56:00.001-08:002012-11-27T09:56:21.439-08:00The Hogan complaints...I feel like discussing something that has been on my mind for a while now. I think you already guessed what I was referring to, and that's Hulk Hogan being in TNA. Now, let me just say that I'm not the biggest fan of this guy, and I certainly don't agree with everything he has done in Impact Wrestling. If we are gonna compile a list of all the wrong things he has done, it would likely be a long one. From taking away the 6-sided ring to firing Jay Lethal, it's pretty easy to hate them. But I do want to remind all of the TNA fans and critics alike that are calling to for Hogans resignation to hear me out. I'm gonna explain WHY a company like TNA are smart in keeping Hogan as a GM and somewhat of a representative of this company.<br />
<br />
1. His name is recognizable all around the world. Even people who don't watch wrestling know who Hogan is. He has that charisma and that starpower that makes people wanna watch Impact Wrestling, even if the ratings doesn't reflect on that. I agree that he has thrown his name in the mud a little bit with the sex scandal and the affair issues, but the fact remains that he can draw people in. Only thing he needs to do is to promote Impact a bit more when he's being interviewed and not talk so much about his legendary matches with Andre The Giant and people are gonna watch TNA a lot more.<br />
<br />
2. Almost all the young indy wrestlers that are working hard trying to get somewhere big look at Hulk Hogan as their inspiration. He is one of the biggest icons in wrestling history and to say that most of the up and coming young wrestlers try to reach the heights he reached is an understatement. The fact is, TNA are aiming for younger wrestlers now and with the likes of Zema Ion, Jesse Sorensen and Magnus, it only shows this trend is gonna continue in the future, and part of that is thanks to Hulk Hogan.<br />
<br />
3. He has the experience and that know-how in pro wrestling. Now you might all remember the Bobby Roode case, where Roode was being pushed to the moon and was supposed to face Kurt Angle at Bound For Glory and win, but Hogan said he wasn't ready? I'm sure most of you remember this moment. Everyone were so mad at Hogan for speaking his mind, but ironically Roode turned out to be a great heel and was the longest World Heavyweight Champion in TNA history. So to say that Hogan doesn't know a thing about booking is foolish, he may have a reputation of being one of the biggest jerks in wrestling history, but there is no denying that he knows his stuff. I could go on, but I want people to really read this with open eyes and understand where I'm coming from. Hulk Hogan may be expensive, but in the long term, it's actually worth the investment.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />Wolfknight30http://www.blogger.com/profile/05376849294781720348noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624302636665746850.post-30011904033624950102012-11-22T04:51:00.000-08:002012-11-22T04:51:14.789-08:00Attention...First off I have to apologize for all of you people waiting for me to write another column. I have been on an extremly busy scheduele and it's been hard to write as of late. Now I am back though and you can expect more from me over time.<br />
<br />
Now, as you may have noticed over the last few weeks, there have been a lot of copying of TNA by the WWE. The John Cena-AJ Lee love affair is one of them, and there might be a reason for that. It's being said that the WWE employees have been assigned to watch TNA and ROH and see what exactly makes their product work. So they then take their report to Vince Mcmahon and use it for their show? Folks, I knew they are lacking a creative mind here but this is just embarrassing. The fact that they steal other companies ideas is not surprising either. The majority of their creative team are a bunch of people with no previous wrestling knowledge, I guess you could call them the ''Hollywood writers'', since the whole show revolves more around talking than wrestling.<br />
<br />
But if you think about it, this has been going on for much longer than these past few weeks. There are a few wrestlers in the WWE resembling current or former TNA wrestlers. Hernandez and Homicide, the group known as LAX, a former tag team in TNA with a great entrance but labeled with the typical Mexican stereotype, the thugs and the gangsters. Now you look at Hunico and Camacho, you got the same type of entrance, only they added the lowrider to their entrance.<br />
<br />
The WWE have been known for copying off other companies, that is not something that should be in doubt. The Attitude Era was a recreation of the harcore style of ECW. And now they are copying TNA. If that doesn't tell you that they are afraid of the competition, then you are sadly mistaken. TNA is on everyone's radar, and it will only be a matter of time before everyone turn on Spike TV and watch the likes of Austin Aries, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Kurt Angle and the rest of the TNA roster raising that bar and becoming the #1 company in the world. With the state of the WWE right now and the rise of Impact Wrestling, things are only gonna get better for TNA.<br />
<br />
Before I conclude this column, I would like all the fans reading this blog to do me a favor. Tell all your friends and family to read my blog, as I believe the wrestling fans need someone to convince them that TNA is the company to watch. If you are using Facebook, you can join the Impact Enforcer group right here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/275324855920332/ and read new columns from there too while discussing wrestling with other fans. Once again, thank you for being patient, I try to bring you something worthwhile to read whenever I can and I appreciate all the support. Thank you.Wolfknight30http://www.blogger.com/profile/05376849294781720348noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624302636665746850.post-164804007556864082012-11-10T11:28:00.000-08:002012-11-10T11:28:31.644-08:00Turning Point predictions...With the final card for Turning Point being in place, it looks like it's gonna be a very entertaining PPV. Are we gonna see someone unmask? Is Joseph Park gonna turn into Abyss? Who's gonna win or lose? I'm gonna break it down for you. Let's start shall we...<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Doc from Aces & 8s vs. Joseph Park</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
2 weeks ago we finally got to find out the identity of one the masked men. It was speculated that Luke Gallows, now known as the Director of Chaos, was the man that also ''broke'' Austin Aries arm a while back. Now we have the lawyer Joseph Park, started out as a nervous wreck but eventually got more and more courageous each week. Now, he's facing DOC in a match, and I feel that there is a chance there is gonna be an interference, seeing how the Aces & 8s are sticking up for their men. He might even turn to his alter-ego, Abyss. It would be a nice moment as it furthers Parks character. So I say this will be a DQ victory to Joseph Park. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Winner: Joseph Park by DQ</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Tara & Jesse vs. ODB & Eric Young</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I must say I very much disliked Tara's Hollywood character at first. I have however grown to enjoy her partnership with Jesse. He seems to be able to carry himself well in the ring, so I give him a point for that. Now for ODB and her husband EY, it's a whole different ballgame. Don't get me wrong, I like both of them but in my opinion, it's time they broke up. It might be something you don't want to see, but it's quite needed. With Eric Young in limbo over his status with TNA, we might see Eric Young for the last time on Sunday. If we do see him on Sunday, I expect Tara & Jesse picking up the win, with ODB leaving EY in the ring, and demanding a divorce. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Winners: Tara & Jesse</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Joey Ryan vs. RVD for the X-division Championship</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This is a match I'm very much looking forward to. Since Ryan and Morgans alliance, they have looked pretty good together. He's got the charisma, the look and he can go toe-to-toe with Rob Van Dam. I for one however do not see Ryan picking up the win on Sunday. I expect the feud between these two to continue for a while, with Joey winning the title after Turning Point, but my choice is RVD.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Devon vs. Kurt Angle</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
If I'm to be honest, don't expect this to be excellent wrestling match. Kurt Angle will probably not put on a wrestling clinic, having been dealing with injuries for a while. They will have a good match but I expect there to be an interference once again by the Aces & 8s with Bully Ray in pursuit of Devon. So this match is a NO CONTEST.<br />
<br />
Winner: No winner<br />
<br />
<br />
Samoa Joe vs. Magnus for the TV title<br />
<br />
This has been a very exciting feud between these two. They have put on great matches between each other and I expect no less on Sunday. With Magnus quickly getting over as a heel, I expect him to win the TV title, with Joe putting him over. It serves no real purpose if Joe keeps the title at this point in time. Giving the belt to Magnus we will finally see him do great things with the title and make the midcard division relevant again, even if Joe has done very well.<br />
<br />
Winner: Magnus<br />
<br />
<br />
Christopher Daniels & Kazarian vs. Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez for the Tag Titles<br />
<br />
With this feud, the rivalry between these two teams have made the Tag Titles mean something again. I can see them feuding until Final Resolution, simply because there is a need to put these teams in the card. I see the champs retaining for now, with one or two tag teams in the mix in the coming weeks as we head to Final Resolution.<br />
<br />
Winners: Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez<br />
<br />
<br />
James Storm vs. AJ Styles vs. Bobby Roode in a Number 1 Contenders match<br />
<br />
This match is so unique simply because of the stipulation. Whoever gets pinned cannot be involved in the World Title picture until Bound For Glory next year. Now, here's the hard part. Who gets pinned? Well, in my mind that man is AJ Styles. I can see James Storm pinning him to get the World Title shot. HOWEVER, it does not mean that we can't see all three of these men at Bound For Glory for the World Heavyweight Championship. I can see them being involved in a triple threat match, with AJ Styles winning the title. Seeing him win the title at BFG would be massive, no question about that. But in THIS match, James Storm is the winner.<br />
<br />
Winner: James Storm<br />
<br />
<br />
Austin Aries vs. Jeff Hardy for the World Heavyweight Championship<br />
<br />
This match is the one I'm absolutely stoked to see. There will be chaos, anarchy and there will be high flying action. TNA giving the title to Hardy was to show faith in him but there is also another reason. I believe that they put the belt on him to keep him as happy as possible. With his contract expiring in February, it's understandable why they would put the strap on him. But then again, TNA will likely do everything they can to keep him and keep him in the main event, but not as the World Champ. Hardy himself has said that he's fine with just wrestling and that one of his biggest goals is to just stay healthy. So I can see Austin Aries regaining the belt, with Bobby Roode once again in the title picture.<br />
<br />
Winner: Austin Aries<br />
<br />
These are my predictions, they might seem off and you might disagree with me. Whatever the case, I believe Turning Point will be a great PPV. We might see a big reveal of sorts, or we might not. TNA have been doing great all year long and they have been shutting up the critics for quite a while now.<br />
<br />
I will do my Turning Point review soon, where I will discuss the likely finishes, the match up and the overall PPV quality. THAT is for my next column.<br />
<br />

He tweeted that he has a few shows left to perform and that it might be over for him after that. Now, upon hearing the news, I started to speculate if he was being true to his word or if he was pulling a 'Devon' and working the fans. I wrote a previous column about Eric Young being in a position where he is forced to be someone the crowd can laugh at, a Santino Marella of TNA. <div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This man has always been underrated. Having been a comedy character for the majority of his career, he only recieved a fresh start in 2009 as the leader of World Elite. But here is the interesting part. He can take on a character and turn it into gold. After the break up of the heel stable, Eric Young eventually became a TV champion, had Kevin Nash as a bodyguard of sorts and was basically a edgy face. But then he turned into a clown AGAIN. And has been that way since. I want to show you a few clips to diffrentiate between the comedy character and the ferocious leader...</div>

As you can all see, there is a huge difference between when Eric Young is goofing around and when he is the serious leader. The man is very versatile and can do both characters very well, but enough is enough. He is 32 and has so much more to offer than being a laughing stock of pro wrestling. Eric Young said about a month ago that Eric Bischoff spoke to him and said that he could do so much better with a serious gimmick. I couldn't agree more. I would LOVE to see him be revealed as one of the Aces and Eights members, possibly the leader. But for that to happen, he needs to split up with ODB, lose the Knockouts Title and assert dominance. Until then, he's just a joke.</div>
Wolfknight30http://www.blogger.com/profile/05376849294781720348noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624302636665746850.post-79168892072385491462012-11-05T10:32:00.000-08:002012-11-05T10:32:29.829-08:00A cause for concern? It seems like we might have just found a reason as to why John Cena has been placed in this current storyline with AJ Lee. It's been reported that he's the top WWE star that came up to Vince Mcmahon and told him he ''was out of touch with the product and the audience''. If this is true, then it's easy to understand as to why Cena has been put in such a discomforting position. <div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Cena has never been the type to complain. He is known for being an extremly hard worker, is loved by the kids and is seemingly a likeable guy outside of the ring. It does beg the question though. Did Vince Mcmahon place John Cena in this kind of storyline as to punish him for his opinon? One would think not. If we go back to the Summer of Punk, alot of things that was wrong with the company was being talked about. CM Punk said many things about the company and Vince in particular. From claiming that WWE would fare better after Vince's death to calling his family incompetent, he wasn't punished for his opinions. As a matter of fact, he was rewarded for it and is one of the top guys in the company. So why is it different for John Cena? </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I can understand why he would speak up against Mcmahon. He is a veteran and has been with the company since 2002. He loves the wrestling business and the WWE in general but feels like Vince is starting to misunderstand what the fans want. WWE have never been known for listening to the fans and is a major reason why the product is sorely lacking the excitement they used to possess for years. In my mind, if Cena is being punished for speaking his mind, then I think he needs to cross the line. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Some of you who are reading this might think, ''Oh come on, he's never gonna go to TNA''. I have news for you my friends. When Scott Hall was a huge star in WWF at the time, what did he do? He jumped ship to WCW. What about Hulk Hogan? After reaching superstardom, he went to WCW. How many of you would have thought that Christian would go to TNA? People didn't believe it for a second, yet it happened. What about Kurt Angle? Arguably one of the biggest signings in TNA history competing in a company that had existed for only 4 years. I could go on and on, but I think I have proven my point. If Vince Mcmahon and John Cenas relationship gets even more strained, or Cena decides it's time to think of his well being, then you can expect him to join Impact Wrestling. In this business, never say never.<br /><div>
<br /></div>
</div>
Wolfknight30http://www.blogger.com/profile/05376849294781720348noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624302636665746850.post-63617423551159867212012-11-03T11:21:00.001-07:002012-11-03T11:21:17.035-07:00Revelations...After watching Impact Wrestling this week, we finally got to find out atleast one of the members behind the mask. It was none other than Luke Gallows, also known as Festus, formerly from the WWE. The man that played as the masked Kane, was a part of the Straight Edge Society with CM Punk, and I don't think I need to tell you the other gimmick he played. You all know what I mean. Now, he is in TNA and is a member of the biker gang known as Aces and Eights. It may hurt alot of the WWE fanboys feelings, but the fact is WWE just lost a major player. He has the size, the look and is in good hands with TNA. Even the WWE Champion himself said that releasing Gallows was a big mistake. I couldn't agree more.<br />
<br />
<br />
Since the Indian based promotion, Ring Ka King was produced by Jeff Jarrett, Gallows played as Isaiah Cash, a big man that wants to hurt people and cause havoc. If I'm not mistaken, he would play this character in TNA as well, since he already is portraying the role of a biker member. Without further ado, here is Isaiah Cash...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/GFxk0MY3cXk?feature=player_embedded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div>
<br />
Now, I know what you might be thinking. If you are a fan of the ruthless agression era, you would probably think of the Undertaker when seeing Gallows. That's not an issue, but if you believe that nobody can use a rehashed gimmick, then you are wrong. What gimmick does John Cenas supposed to resemble? Hulk Hogan. What gimmick did Bobby Lashley's entrance resemble? Brock Lesnar. And what does David Otunga represent? Chris Masters. So people, if you are gonna bash TNA for giving Gallows a gimmick like this, just take a look at WWE and their actions.<br />
<br />
Here is a preview of what Gallows will be bringing to the ring once the dust settles and the Aces and Eights storyline is over...<br />
<br />

Here we have a group of bikers that want to destroy the TNA roster and siege control of the company. But the question is, why? What's in it for them? I've been thinking of some possible names, both shocking and also questionable. But in my mind, TNA management are not fools, they want to keep the fans guessing as to keep this storyline exciting and full of questions. Now I have decided not to put the obvious names on my list such as Eric Bischoff and Jeff Jarrett. The reasons are far too obvious and it would be a huge letdown if either of these men were revealed as the leaders. Not to mention the fact that TNA would recieve massive criticism for the lack of creative ideas. <div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Now, let me reveal my list of possible suspects...</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
1) Bully Ray </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This one might have been one your minds but hear me out. In my estimation, just about the majority of the wrestling fans were expecting Bully Ray to turn on Sting at Bound For Glory and reveal himself as the leader of the group. But TNA didn't play that card. Instead they surprised alot of people and kept him face while Devon was revealed as a member of Aces and Eights. Now however, it seems they are trying to convince the wrestling fans that he's indeed a face and against the biker gang. I for one, do not believe so. In my mind, Bully Ray is gonna reveal himself as the mastermind behind all of this and cause havoc in TNA. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
2) Scott Steiner </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This one is a bit of a surprise, as we haven't seen Scott Steiner since he was released in May of this year. He has gone on Twitter and called out Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and Bruce Prichard and basically called them, well, alot of things. He has also revealed private information about Bischoff, such as a female stripper having lesbian sex with Bischoffs wife. He also revealed how he appeared in court for tipping the stripper too little and going to court for it. As of now, he is reportedly fighting TNA in a court battle over money that he should have recieved while he was still wrestling with the organization. I admit to siding with Steiner when he went on his mad Twitter rampage, but a part of me tells me this is a work. Since Bischoff is a firm believer in the term ''Controversy creates cash'', he might have planned this with Steiner in order to make it seem like they are at odds. If I'm correct, they might reveal him at Lockdown, since they decided to continue with the storyline for another 6 months. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
3) Vince Russo</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Yes. That Russo. The same Russo that booked David Arquette to win the WCW title, turned Goldberg heel, and basically was the major reason why WCW closed down could be the leader of Aces and Eights. While he is no longer writing for TNA, he is only a consultant. I for one, believe they might even bring him out there at Lockdown and as the crowd are getting goosebumps to see who the leader is, Vince Russo takes off the mask and smiles at the crowd with a huge grin while the arena erupts with boos. This has to possibly be one of the most shocking reveals in TNA history. The amount of heat Russo would get would be unimaginable. It would be THE highlight that would possibly put TNA on the map. This man is arguably one of the most hated personas in wrestling history. From the fans, to the wrestlers, he is even more hated than Hulk Hogan. This reveal would get everyone talking and the critics wouldn't be able to predict this one. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
These are the people I believe are possibly involved with Aces and Eights. One thing I am sure of is that once the mask comes off, it better be a big name. If Bischoff or Jarrett's the leader, then this entire plot is nothing more than a huge flop. </div>
Wolfknight30http://www.blogger.com/profile/05376849294781720348noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624302636665746850.post-16165824383683680152012-10-30T11:33:00.001-07:002012-10-30T11:33:58.313-07:00Repeat...After following this ongoing storyline between AJ Lee, John Cena and Vickie Guerrero, there seems to be a little Deja Vu. Remember the Claire Lynch storyline? Well, it's back in full force but not in TNA. The WWE fanboys have always ranted on TNA copying WWE of their storylines, but now the tables have been turned. After Vickie Guerrero claimed on Twitter that she had evidence that John Cena has been having an affair with someone in management, she would bring evidence on Monday night Raw to prove it. And what do we get? The evidence is Cena and AJ getting ''together'' for a ''business dinner'' and then getting in a elevator together. WHAT?? That's right, it's the same storyline that had been put for AJ Styles and Dixie Carter, except TNA management knew when it was time to call it off.<br />
<br />
What we know about this is that it's gonna be a failure. The upper brass in Stamford don't realize that in about 3 months or so, when this disaster of a storyline sinks faster than the Titanic, that they will put another nail in their coffin. We all witnessed how AJ Styles was being forced to deal with such a stupid scenario involving a drug addict that eventually goes nowhere because the whole thing never made sense in the beginning. Let's just wait and see what they come up with. They're already doomed to fail.<br />
<br />
To talk about a whole other topic, Beth Phoenix has left the WWE. She is apparently leaving wrestling to help her real life boyfriend, Adam Copeland, also known as Edge through surgery. Now, let me just say this. The WWE simply do NOT care about the Divas Division. They might have at one point, but in this day and age, the only reason the Divas matches are on are to either go and get a toilet break or simply go to the kitchen and get some sandwiches done. They have lost so many divas over the years, because they were either wanting more recognition, or wanting to start a family. The only legitimate Diva in WWE right now is Natalya. She is one of the finest female wrestlers today, and she is put in embarrassing situations and given stupid gimmicks.<br />
<br />
The Knockouts Division in TNA isn't what it used to be either, but TNA management have always found ways to close those gaping holes. With the soon-to-return Velvet Sky, the division can only go up. Taeler Hendrix is about join the main roster soon, so the Knockouts are still in a good position. End rant.Wolfknight30http://www.blogger.com/profile/05376849294781720348noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624302636665746850.post-17640702931729471922012-10-27T08:02:00.000-07:002012-10-27T08:02:40.743-07:00Thuganomics in TNA...First off, I would like to thank all the people reading my blog and enjoying what I write. I haven't been able to write new columns due to personal issues, but none the less, I am back. Now, to talk about something fresh. You might have read the headline and thought to yourselves, ''No way!! John Cena?? In Impact Wrestling??'' Well I've got news for you. Ever since being the poster boy of the WWE, John Cena has carried the company on his shoulders and has become a massive hit. He is loved by the kids because of his ''Never give up'' slogan that he has and he is a big role model for kids. But let's go back to the old days when he was known as the rapping John Cena. <div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Back in 2003, John Cena debuted as a rapper and a so called ''Eminem-wannabe''. He was mocked greatly and made fun of, but the more he rapped and dissed the legends and the wrestlers, he got more loved, even though he was a heel. He had great feuds with the likes of Brock Lesnar, Undertaker, Kurt Angle and JBL. He eventually changed into the ''Chain Gang Soldier'' around 2005/2006. He changed again in 2008, during the PG era, to ''Supercena''. The man that can get the beating of his life and all of a sudden get up, beat his opponent with his ''5 moves of Doom'' and win the match. It has been like this for years and he truly needs a change. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
He has always been a great worker and someone that does what they're told. But even John Cena can't stick around forever. He is 36, going through a divorce, is forced with a stale gimmick and is taking up promo time even though he's supposed to be at home resting. Now, what I'm trying to get to is this...Vince Mcmahon is realizing that he can't push John Cena as hard as he is currently. With the travel scheduele and main eventing almost EVERY single PPV of this year, he is either going to wind up with an early retirement, or be stuck in a wheel chair for the rest of his life. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
When you think of Cena, you might think of this guy...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hjdCDXxwuXU/UIv2J2Ypq1I/AAAAAAAAAEU/l1Cl9Eza8uA/s1600/220px-Hulk_Hogan_July_2010.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hjdCDXxwuXU/UIv2J2Ypq1I/AAAAAAAAAEU/l1Cl9Eza8uA/s320/220px-Hulk_Hogan_July_2010.jpg" width="212" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /><div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Hulk Hogan was a massive name in WWF/WWE, just like John Cena is right now. Nobody ever thought he would go to WCW, but guess what, it happened...Thuganomics is making an ''Impact'' in Impact Wrestling folks and history doesn't lie, just like Hogan, Cena is gonna cross the line at some point, mark my words...</div>
</div>

It was AMAZING!! without a doubt, THE best PPV of 2012 bar none. Yes, even better than Wrestlemania 28. The matches were awesome, and as I predicted, all the wrestlers I was predicting to win were the right ones. I loved the surprise appearance by Matt Morgan in the Al Snow/Joey Ryan match. I was expecting him to show up for the Aces & 8s match. This alliance with Morgan/Joey Ryan reminds me of the HBK/Kevin Nash alliance a little bit. We'll see what they will bring to the table come Thursday night on Impact. Now however, I would like to talk about a few things, including the state of WWE and Monday Night Raw.<br />
<br />
Since July 23rd, 2012, Raw has been on a massive decline in ratings and people have been vocal about it. On the 1000th episode of Raw, around 6 million viewers tuned in to the show. Fast forward to the 16th of October, the viewership has dropped to 3,98 million. That's 3,2 million drop folks. To say that the WWE is bleeding within is an understatement. Ever since they went PG, people have been changing the channel simply because it's just not possible to watch a show that has the same wrestlers in the main event. Here is a ratings and viewers comparison numbers since July 23rd.<br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">

<br />
<br />
<br />
Every week, in every PPV, it's always John Cena that's front and center. He may be injured, but it doesn't mean he's not gonna be put back in the main event. Ryback is only there as a 'what if' because Cena's recovery time is in doubt. Vince Mcmahon is said to be high on Ryback, and while he's getting over steadily, he's not ready to main event Hell In A Cell. He might be pushed to the moon, but we will all find out that he won't cope with the pressure, mark my words.<br />
<br />
<br />
While WWE continues to decline ratings wise and product wise, TNA are putting on their best display in recent years. I have high hopes for them, I will be giving suggestions on how they can get to the top, but that's for another time.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />Wolfknight30http://www.blogger.com/profile/05376849294781720348noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624302636665746850.post-34550278404010735892012-10-13T13:47:00.001-07:002012-10-13T13:47:51.264-07:00BFG Predictions...Now that BFG is so close, I would like to take this time and review the card for Bound For Glory one final time and give my thoughts on who's gonna win and what's gonna happen in this event. The last 2 episodes of Impact have been great, and TNA have really stepped up their game as of late. Here we go.<br />
<br />
1) Joey Ryan vs Al Snow<br />
<br />
Ever since Joey Ryan was introduced to the Impact Zone, they immediately liked how he wrestled and the crowd loved him. After being denied a contract however, he had been posting videos about how TNA screwed up and that the fans are right. This current feud with Al Snow will culminate at Bound For Glory, with Ryan picking up the win thanks to Al Snow helping him win the match and he gets his contract.<br />
<br />
Winner: Joey Ryan<br />
<br />
Street Fight: James Storm vs Bobby Roode/King Mo as Special Enforcer<br />
<br />
This rivalry has reminded me of the Austin/Rock feud back in Wrestlemania 17. They've got the ability to make the crowd see them fight, and they have brought their A-game all the way. Now, Roode has beaten Storm 5 times already. I am expecting this match to be the Match of The Year. There will be blood, there will be chaos and this will be the final battle between these two as they go toe to toe one final time. I am firmly expecting Storm to win after the brutal win, and close this chapter and once again challenge for the World Title.<br />
<br />
Winner: James Storm<br />
<br />
3) Samoa Joe vs Magnus for the TV Title<br />
<br />
I happen to be a big fan of Samoa Joe. I like his attitude, and the way TNA management has him playing the tweener role very well. He will do battle with Magnus for the Television Title. I expect this to be a good match. They can work well together and even though Magnus should be a midcard champion by now, they can't put the strap on him for now, so the win goes to Joe.<br />
<br />
Winner: Samoa Joe<br />
<br />
Zema Ion vs Rob Van Dam for the X-Division Title<br />
<br />
I have to say in spite of what people say about Ion, I think his gimmick is actually good. Ever since unintentionally broke Jesse Sorensens neck, he has been breaking peoples arms and even dubbed himself ''The Armbreaker''. Before that even occurred, he was stale and people didn't care about him, atleast now he gets a reaction. Anyway, for the match, he will face RVD. This will no doubt be a good match, these two guys work a similar style and there will likely be a lot of spots but Zema will once again escape with the belt.<br />
<br />
Winner: Zema Ion<br />
<br />
AJ Styles/Kurt Angle vs. Chavo Guerrero/Hernandez vs. Daniels/Kazarian for the Tag Team Titles<br />
<br />
When this match was announced by Hulk Hogan, I knew this match was gonna be special. All 3 teams are gonna bring it, I expect high spots, lots of technical moves and a very good wrestling match. TNA are high on Chavo and Hernandez, so I wouldn't be surprised if they walked away with the titles. And for the sake of this AJ/Daniels fued ending, it's for the best if they win the titles.<br />
<br />
Winners: Chavo and Hernandez<br />
<br />
Tara vs Tessmacher for the Knockouts Title<br />
<br />
This is a battle between teacher vs student. Tara has something to prove, that she is the better wrestler and that she has the experience to win. Although I have to say I don't like her ''Hollywood Boyfriend'' persona she has going on, but I believe the man she is ''dating'' will reveal himself after the match. My guess? Eric Young, John Morrison or Chris Masters. As for this outcome, I bet on Tara to win after using underhanded tactics.<br />
<br />
Winner: Tara<br />
<br />
Sting and Bully Ray vs Aces and Eights<br />
<br />
This will likely come down to Bully turning on Sting and revealing himself as a member, unless TNA do a swerve and completely shock us all with a return of a TNA original.<br />
<br />
Winners: Aces and Eights<br />
<br />
Jeff Hardy vs Austin Aries for the World Heavyweight Championship<br />
<br />
This match, in my opinion will end up as a no contest. Simply because if Aries wins, TNA risk losing Hardy in February if he doesn't sign a new contract. If Hardy wins, the critics will be up in arms and remind everyone of Hardy's match at Victory Road 11, despite his reform. He will likely be champion some other time, but for now it's just not a possibility.<br />
<br />
Winner: No Contest<br />
<br />
Those are my predictions, it took me a while to write but I hope you all agree, and if not that is fine too. I'll talk about Bound For Glory after it's been done, but for now, let's just await the magic...<br />
<br />
<br />Wolfknight30http://www.blogger.com/profile/05376849294781720348noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3624302636665746850.post-19349681907883164102012-10-11T13:58:00.000-07:002012-10-11T13:58:36.758-07:00Underrated...I would like to take this time to talk about one man who has been terribly misused by TNA for years. He has the talent and the ability to take upon any character and use it to perfection. He is used as a comedy joke these days and is one half of the Knockouts Tag Champs.<br />
<br />
I am of course talking about Eric Young. The man has been with TNA for many years, and has been misused so much that I sometimes cringe when I see him with the Knockouts Tag Belt now. Just 3 years ago he was the leader of World Elite, and in my opinion, one of the best stables TNA have ever come up with. It's stint was short, but he showed that he could be taken seriously and be noticed. To show you what I mean...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/O9-OhjWS9rE?feature=player_embedded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div>
